It can be hard to step out of your comfort zone, to try something new, to be adventurous.
This can be as simple as changing your hair color (Alisa went RED once), to eating at a new restaurant, to wearing new clothes, shoes, or trying a different wardrobe style, to experimenting with a new position sexually or even GASP a new way to initiate.
Your mind might be racing with questions, such as:
How will I be received?
What will he or she think of me?
Will I be able to pull this off?
What if it doesn’t work?
What if I am embarrassed?
This time you are pushing past all of these questions and putting on the trenchcoat and high heels.
Figuratively for some of you and literally for others.
You’re stepping out of your comfort zone.
You challenge yourself to do something you’ve never done so that you can experience something you never have.
You chose to be strong in a situation that may have caused you to feel week.
Each time you experience a new level of sexual intimacy with your spouse because you stepped out of your comfort zone.
Each step is a baby step that leads you to be courageous in your life and your marriage.
