From San Antonio, TX, Jorge and Debbie Garza are long-time members of Better Marriages. They serve as members of the Better Marriages National Board of Directors. Jorge is the Treasure and on the Logistics committee. Debbie is Chairperson of the HR committee.
They are long time members of Better Marriages. They were introduce to Better Marriages TX by friends and immediately found value and friendships in this wonderful organization. They became actively involved with Better Marriages TX, participating in Weekend Events and then serving on the Better Marriages TX Board, currently as President Couple.
Jorge served 27 years in the Air Force attaining the rank of Colonel before retiring in 2008. He then became certified to teach Math and Science and has taught Middle School for the last 12 years. He put all of his experience leading troops to work wrangling 6th and 7th grade students encouraging them to learn and develop. Debbie followed Jorge around the world and across the U.S. raising their children and providing a wonderful home for the family. When Jorge retired, she switched her interested into serving her church in their children, youth and women’s ministries.
